Step 1
Turn your Sanyo LCD high definition digital television to the side so the ports on the left side of your television are showing. Plug your earphone's connection cable into the "Headphone" jack located in the second panel of jacks on the left side of your television.
Step 2
Turn on your television, if it is off. Press the "M" button on your television's remote control to access the TV's configuration menu.
Step 3
Press the right arrow key on your remote control to select the music icon. The word "Sound" will appear on the screen.
Step 4
Press the down arrow key on your remote control to select "Headphone." Press the right arrow key to open the "Headphone" sub-menu.
Step 5
Press the down arrow key to select "Volume." Press the right arrow key to increase your earphone's volume. Press the left arrow key to decrease the volume.
Step 6
Press the down arrow key to select "Headphone Sound." Press the right arrow key to increase to select "Active" to turn your earphones on. Press "OK" to accept the settings and use your earphones.

- You can connect regular, wired earphones as well as wireless earphones to your Sanyo LCD digital television. Earphones are available from electronic and retail superstores as well as online.
