Uniden landline telephones have an LCD screen that displays various information, including the date, time and caller ID information. The time and date settings are important because the caller ID uses a time and date stamp, which provides the user with accurate information about when calls were received. Set the time and date to take full advantage of the phone's caller ID feature.
