The U.S. Postal Service delivered about 177 billion pieces of mail in 2009, according to its annual report. While the Internet is linked to a decrease in mail volume, plenty of occasions exist for which sending "snail mail" is preferred. Whether it's a wedding invitation, a condolence card or a birth announcement, sometimes we need to deliver something via the postal service. When you're not sure of a person's mailing address, try using the Internet to find it for free.
