You can only create strike-through text on Facebook using a unicode tool.

Facebook is a popular social networking site that allows friends to connect and share photos, updates, videos and links. If you're making a status update on Facebook and want to try something a bit different, consider using strike-through text. Although normal HTML coding doesn't work on Facebook status updates, you can use a special online tool to create unicode strike-through text that you can copy and paste, then post for your friends to see.

Step 1

Go to adamvarga.com/strike/.

Delete the existing text in the Input box, and type in the text you would like to post with a strike-through.

Step 3

Click on the "Click to Strike" button underneath the Input box when you have finished.

Highlight the strike-through text that appears in the Result box underneath, right-click anywhere on the highlighted text and select "Copy."

Step 5

Log in to your Facebook profile at facebook.com, and click the text box at the top of your profile window to enter a new update.

Step 6

Right-click on the status update text box, and select "Paste." Your strike-through text will appear in the status update box.

Step 7

Finish your status update, and then click on "Post" or press "Enter" on your keyboard. Your status update containing the strike-through text will appear on your profile.
