Spanish accents are the little marks over certain vowels and letters in other languages, such as Spanish. These symbols are something you may not need to use very often, so they might be a little tricky to find on your keyboard when you do. You don't need to switch your entire system to a Spanish keyboard; there are keyboard strokes that will enable you to add accented letters, even in Photoshop. On a Mac, the key functions are a little different than on a PC.
Step 1
Start up your Mac and click on Photoshop in your dock, or locate Photoshop in your "Applications" folder and double-click to open.

Step 2
Select "File" from the Photoshop menu, and navigate down to "New" to open a new document.

é = "Option" + "e" then type "e" í = "Option" + "e" then type "i" á = "Option" + "e" then type "a" ó = "Option" + "e" then type "o" ú = "Option" + "e" then type "u"
Hold down the "Option" key once, keep it held down, type the letter "u" and follow with the key you want the accent over: ü = "Option" + "u", then type "u"
Hold down the "Option" key once, keep it held down, type the letter "n" and follow with the "n" key: ñ= "Option" + "n" then release and type "n" again.
Create inverted punctuation marks as follows: ¡ = "Option" + "1" ¿= "Option" + "shift" + "?"
