The Verizon FiOS set-top box acts as the control center for your TV service. Problems with the set-top box's configuration, the FiOS modem connection or other settings can disrupt the reception from your TV service. Reset the Verizon router and set-top box if the channels are unavailable to return your TV service to a working condition. Resetting the set-top box will not affect any of the on-demand titles, favorite channels or personal settings.
Step 1
Check to ensure the coaxial cable in the rear of the set-top box is securely attached. Loose connections can disrupt the available channels.
