The property's design architecturally makes no sense, which is what makes it so fascinating. There are unfinished staircases, doors that lead to no where, and windows in the wrong places. The story goes that she designed her home in a way to confuse the spirits of those killed by the Winchester Repeating Arms' guns, the company she inherited from her husband's family. Take a virtual tour of the home where Andrew Borden and his wife Abby were murdered with an axe in their Fall River, Massachusetts home in 1892. One of their daughters Lizzie was tried and acquitted for their murders, but is believed to have committed the crimes. People say the ghosts of Andrew, Abby, and Lizzie haunt the house to this day.
The Crescent Hotel and Spa in Eureka Springs, Arkansas is known to be one of the most haunted hotels in the U.S. The fact that it has a morgue and autopsy room might have something to do with it.
The Queen Mary
