Another Prime Day Is Happening in October

Yep, another Prime Day is coming. The last Prime Day took place over the summer in July, which was only a few months ago, but if you didn't buy all the discounted items you intended to, your chance is coming again.

The next Prime Day is called Prime Big Deal Days and it's happening in October. It's basically a sequel to July's Prime Day, and it's also a holiday shopping kick off with all the early holiday deals. You can expect to see discounts across all categories, including tech, home, fashion, beauty, and toys.

The big day will take place on Oct. 10 at 3:00 a.m. ET/12:00 a.m. PT. and it'll run through the end of the day on Oct. 11.

The best discounts on Prime Big Deal Days will only be accessible to Prime members, however, if you aren't a member and haven't already utilized your 30-day free trial (or have another email to use so you can get another 30 free days), you can sign up before Oct. 10 and cancel before the 30 days are up to have full Prime access.

If you don't want to sign up to be a Prime member, you can still check out Amazon during Prime Big Deal Days for sales that are available to all shoppers.

If you're planning on browsing around and buying whatever you find that looks good at the time, you don't need to prep. But if you plan on getting a good chunk of your holiday shopping done, you might want to make a list of the items or types of items you want to buy. Otherwise, it's easy to get distracted.

Amazon's Wish List is a great way to keep track of products you want to buy. The list will help you stay organized, but it'll also let you see which items are discounted on Prime Day compared to when you added them to your list.

You can also use Alexa to receive deal notifications up to 24 hours in advance on eligible items saved to your Wish List, cart, or saved items. Just ask Alexa to remind you of the deal once it's live, or you can ask Alexa to buy the item for you when it goes live buy saying, "Alexa, buy it for me."
